TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Navigation Data
The IT systems and software procedures involved in the operation of this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but due to their nature, it could potentially allow user identification. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, request time, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the server’s response (success, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and IT environment. These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information about site usage and to verify its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. Furthermore, the data could be used to ascertain liability in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site; except for this eventuality, the web contact data currently do not persist for more than seven days.
Data Provided Voluntarily by the User
The optional, explicit, and voluntary submission of personal data by the user to the contacts available on this website entails the subsequent acquisition of the data provided by the sender, necessary for the provision of the requested service. Specific summary privacy notices will be progressively reported or displayed on the site pages prepared for particular requested services. Such data will be processed by the Data Controller primarily through electronic means, in order to comply with the user’s request.
COOKIE
Cookies are small text files stored on the user’s computer by the websites they visit. They are primarily used to enable the proper functioning of websites and make them operate more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owners. Below is a detailed description of the cookies used.
Cookies can be either session or persistent cookies. Session cookies are stored on the device for a short period and are deleted as soon as the user closes the browser. Their use is strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow secure and efficient browsing of the site.
Persistent cookies, on the other hand, remain stored on the user’s device until a predetermined expiration date. Since they are not deleted directly upon closing the browser, they allow remembering the choices made by the user on the site, as well as collecting information about the pages visited, the frequency of site visits, and identifying user navigation paths, in order to improve the user experience on this site.
Session and persistent cookies can be either First-Party or Third-Party, depending on whether the entity that installs the cookies on the user’s device is the same as the site manager being visited (First-Party cookies) or a different entity (Third-Party cookies).
