ABSTRACT

A 43-year-old male patient, in good general health, presented with significant bone loss and fewer than 10 remaining occluding teeth, with numerous missing posterior teeth. The diagnosis of periodontal disease was confirmed by completing a periodontal record and performing a complete intraoral radiograph.
