Treatment of a Class II Malocclusion with OxyAligner Clear Aligners

ABSTRACT

In recent years, there has been growing interest in aesthetic treatments, including orthodontics, among both adolescents and adults. Recent studies indicate that 45% of adults are dissatisfied with their smile, and 20% are considering orthodontic treatment to improve its appearance. Clear aligner systems have proven effective in correcting a wide range of malocclusions, including complex cases.

This case report describes the treatment of a 26-year-old adult female patient with Class II malocclusion, dental crowding, and deep bite using clear aligners.

The treatment goal was to achieve a correct Class I occlusion, resolve the crowding, harmonize the dental arches, and improve the smile aesthetics by reducing visible buccal corridors. The case was successfully managed, highlighting the effectiveness and versatility of clear aligners even in complex clinical situations.
